Laurie Grasty

Laurie began her love for craft beer in the summer of 2002 when she sipped on a Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA, while visiting the brewpub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. She continued to expand her knowledge throughout the years and took it to the next level by becoming a part of the Kush Hospitality family in 2014. She was head-hunted by Matt Kuscher to become LoKal’s general manager and has since moved up to Director of Operations for the brand — a.k.a. Boss Lady. She now is taking on a bigger title, as the owner and operator of her own "baby", The Miami Brew Bus. Laurie is a native of Pennsylvania but now resides in Ft. Lauderdale and once you meet her you’ll know three things for certain: she’s passionate about craft beer, Eagles football (GO BIRDS), and travel.

Chanell Quinones

Chanell is a comic book loving, beer and booze enthusiast. Born in the state of New York and raised in this great city of Miami, she was introduced to the world of craft beer in 2014 when she was hired by Laurie Grasty (The Boss Lady) while she held the position of general manager at Lokal, in Coconut Grove. Between Laurie’s imparted wisdom and education on hospitality and craft beer, the “Tap Takeover” events being hosted at Lokal, and the exposure of new local craft beers; Chanell's knowledge and curiosity grew quickly. Fast forward to now, she is uniquely qualified to offer a wonderful experience to all Miami Brew Bus passengers. She is very excited to be part of the Miami Brew Bus Tours and share her passion for all things craft beer! In her spare time she travels to discover new destinations while indulging on the local cuisine, drinks, and cultural experiences so she can bring them home with her and enrich the lives of other curious beer geeks and foodies.

Michelle Blate

Michelle began her journey in the beer industry several years ago when she started working at Pisen Time’s, where she received her level one cicerone certification. It was then that she realized how much her love and passion grew for the brewery business. Michelle excelled on this beer journey by then joining the “Beer Knowledge” class at the cicerone boot camp, where she was recruited by Lagunitas as a brand ambassador for the Midwest. This is where Michelle was really able to shine and combine her absolute two favorite things: craft beer and good music. As a mercenary for Lagunitas, she would travel around to different beer festivals and music festivals representing Lagunitas and talking about different beer, brew styles, and beer culture. Then Lagunitas sent her back to work in Miami and now she has joined the growing team of Miami Brew Bus! As a third generation Miamian, Michelle has seen the “craft beer culture” grow dramatically since it’s inception and is excited to be part of the movement. On her free time she enjoys jammin’ out at music festivals to good music, photography, and spending quality time with her friends and dog, Mimi, at all of the poppin’ local spots.
